What they're interested in, is increasing number of births. Turns out, that does go up, with a whopping 1.7%. So a 1.83 fertility rate (Louisiana) would go to 1.86, still below replacement rate and still keeps decreasing.
The bans are about control though, not birth rate. Scientists should check Smug Satisfaction levels in those states
It can be both. I'm not saying it is. I can't read minds. Just saying it's a possibility. There's not much that happens for just a singular reason.
