MODERATORS
The only stores still functioning in my town are owned and operated by Chinese and South Asian immigrants. Every time some out of towner white guy tries to open something it's expensive tourist shit which we don't have enough tourists to sustain and nobody here wants, or it's so expensive that nobody here can afford it. Though, really the difference is the Chinese lady that runs the convenience store doesn't think she's going to franchise out and become the next 7/11 but bro with dad's investment money and a plan to be the county's foremost wood fired hot tub purveyor thinks he's going to be a publicly traded company next year
