That todo.txt sounds freakin sweet.
I like it! It has lots of settings too, so I do things like sort by priority, colour by priority, I have it so the only button is to complete it, then another click to archive in case I accidentally do it. Archiving adds it to a done.txt file so I can go see what I've ticked off if I want. It's a great tool once you get it set up with a workflow that suits you.
I use the ntodotxt app from F-Droid for editing on mobile, it syncs with Nextcloud too. I don't love it, but it's enough to add things from my phone when I'm thinking about them.
