ICE is closer to 20% gas to wheels. 30+ (reaching 50 on large diesel) is at the best efficient point, mainly when used for diesel-electric or pumps.
EV has 85% charging and 85% battery to wheels, overall 70+.
That's "energy efficiency," not "energy density."
