An absolute no-brainer to block this. I won't even give them kudos. It's ridiculous a US company even tried to buy such a company.
Every country (including the US) should simply have a policy of never selling a software company to a foreign company. You're basically handing over your records and recordkeeping to a different government. Companies shouldn't even be hosting servers in other countries except to provide a separate but identical service to people in that country (which people in that country frankly shouldn't use, unless the origin country is cool).
