Conservative shitheads never know when to quit for the betterment of humanity. That's why they have to be made to quit.
Okay, but are we now downvoting media based on a single person involved? Because, maties-- there's been a metric fuck-tonne of films and media produced by describably awful people, going back 100yrs, easily.
Yeah, and right-wing shitheads have always be an ongoing problem, we know this, but the particular reviewer skill has always been the ability to 'separate art from artist.'
So yeah, it suggests right here to get the flock over yourselves, and grow the ability to examine a piece upon its own merits. Thank you.

Last but not least... I had actually upvoted this, motherfucker, as I always try to remember to do with threads I interact with. Why? Because Lemmy doesn't have a lot of traffic and activity, so any interaction that boosts interaction is positive, especially if it fosters discussion, even if I myself am just pissing into the wind. Upvote histories on Lemmy are actually visible behind the scenes as well, so it's not impossible for you to check this (fairly sure it includes timestamps as well, so it can show I upvoted before this comment was made). (EDIT: looks like you have to use something like mbin/kbin or apps that show this info[havent tried yet], or you have to be an admin. EDIT II: You can definitely see them with timestamps on mbin, but currently the mbin server I joined only has recent post for me as of three hours ago and not current, see bottom of post Figure EDIT II)

I just checked my own post history and it's interesting because I have to go back 2 and a half months to even find a thread where I had a genuine disagreement with someone. But sure, months of being involved in friendly helpful conversations has no bearing, nor does the fact that I was accused of something I wasn't doing in this instance. Yeah, I really turn any opportunity whatsoever to argue, sure guy, just as I'm sure that when someone accuses you of something you're not doing you definitely don't feel upset about it all ever for sure.
Oh, is it necessary now to post our online CV's in order to try to strengthen our arguments? Along with the virtue-signalling?

Anyway, I recall your basic premise being highly flawed, and I vaguely recall that being what we were arguing about. I also seem to recall you getting personal for no apparent reason. In truth, I was also tossing a couple back last night, and probably responded somewhat along those lines.
