Absolutely horrifying, I see no rail infrastructure anywhere

At least there's rail infrastructure but that stock seems pretty outdated, looks like something straight out of the early 20th century. We need more childrens books depicting modern electric stock.

Modern electric trains are cool, but nothing really beats the steam engine in terms of chugga chugga choo choo

Classic stock is nice but nothing beats the feeling of a high speed train going at 257 km/h down the only high speed corridor in the US, or even better taking a proper high speed tain in the EU or China at over 300 km/h

Haha, I don't think I've ever been in a train going over 120km/h in Europe 😅

Edit: sorry I lied, the Pendolino in Finland between Helsinki and Tampere can go between 180-200km/h

Oh you're European, yeah the reason why I'm not a fan of these older stocks is because in most of America we only have older trains. Desperate improvements are needed to US rail infrastructure including electrification and the introduction of modern stock. I get older stock is nice for a museum but we sorta need trains that can take us places.

Yeah I've heard the railway network in US is like terrible

I did have the opportunity to ride a metro there in San Francisco, which wasn't too bad besides the difficulties figuring out how the fuck do I buy a ticket and get in 🤣 But that's about as annoyingly difficult in every city I've ever visited. Bonus points for Copenhagen, where I needed to ask help from a local and still did it wrong lmao

If you want to see good public transit in the US there are only two options really, NYC and Chicago (with NYC having vastly superior public transit).

Let's be kind and include Philadelphia while it still has public transport.
