I just need to rant to those who know: I’m having a bad side effect with one of my meds when taken too close to eating (major RLS for two hours) so I skipped and missed two doses now. Today I’m back at work, in a foul mood and hating life. Now I realize why. DUH. To top it off I see my Psych this afternoon for my quarterly med checkin. I was prepared to tell him I’ve been in a upswing the past few weeks and now I’ve totally crashed in two days. I did this to myself and I hate myself even more for it.

You did nothing wrong, it’s totally understandable that you stopped taking your meds after having bad side effects. I take meds for other reasons but I know how you kind of forget how bad your symptoms are if you take meds for a while. I stopped taking mine at times and they were good reminders for why I shouldn’t do that.

It’s good that you’re seeing your psychiatrist. He’s there to help you, not to hear how good you’re doing.

Your meds having side effects is not your fault, you’re doing the right things and I wish you well <3
