Thousands of years of human civilization didn't develop so some lazy fuck could come up with the driest, most boring ass name for a city that could possibly exist. May as well name a city "Rockville" or "Grassport" or "Treeland" smh.

What annoys me is when they say something like "I'm from Paris" and expect me to know they were talking about Paris, Iowa, population 20
There's something like 90 places named "Washington" in America and I'm sure there's some chucklefuck out there who thinks another 10 would be perfectly fine.
Some lib on reddit was going off about Stalingrad's name and another person linked the wiki page for places named after Washington lol
for fifty six years of personally owning slaves, george washington wondered if this was unethical and passionately hungered to free the slaves he personally owned for fifty six years (which he did not, in fact, free)
