I really wonder how often csam gets placed to fuck with people. Like don't get me wrong, there are more than enough sickos out there but is just so easy. Heck, I could probably pull it off.
Full hard drive encryption isn't just for keeping prying eyes out, it's also for reducing the planted-evidence problem.
I mean totally but realistically how many people are doing that? Most people I know don't even have backups, let alone good passwords or encryption. You know, they 'don't have anything to hide' (probably the real reason is lazyness and tech illiteracy).
For me this is baseline opsec so no worries.
I bet it's even easier than I imagine and I imagine it's pretty easy.
Reading about the potential uses of those flipper zero/T-EMBED devices makes me believe the only way to keep something somewhat safe is physical lock+key.
The hubris of keeping horrible, disgusting, illegal material on a cloud service is intense.
