This should not be considered an accident. This is the expected outcome of the US cuts to FAA. This was social murder.

Listen to the ATC it's legit an accident. The idiot driving the firetruck was literally being yelled at by the ATC "Stop Stop Stop" over the radio.

There was an active "emergency" happening prior to the accident, a plane that was already on the ground had declared an emergency due to I think a burning smell in the back of the plane. That firetruck I believe was on their way to that plane. Perhaps if everyone wasn't on edge and properly paid this might of not happened but I think it would of as this wasn't ATC giving incorrect orders or info it was someone not listening to control when crossing an active runway.

The controller was basically doing two people's jobs at once, and did clear the truck to drive through before he realised. Presumably he was just too late.
