Hi, a time ago I chose Osidian over Logseq (Don't really remember why) but I always disliked it being proprietary software. Since then my Osidian workflow have become similar to how Logseq works, except for two things and one of them is the exalidraw plugin. My questions are

  • How do whiteboars integrates with the rest of logseq?
  • How do whiteboars handle hiperlinks, iframes and other embeds?
  • How do whiteboars handle imports and exports?
  • Can you use some sorts of templates?
  • Is there a defined future for whiteboars in the db version? I read that they will implement it when they now how to handle it but this is not very explanatory. Will the new implementation be compatible with the old one? Is there new information in the matter?

These are my questions, thanks for reading!

UPDATE: For the record Logseq whiteboards use Tldraw wich save files with the .edn extension while excalidraw uses .excalidraw so while you cannot use logseq whiteboards for excalidraw files directly you can embed excalidraw canvas inside any logseq page and whiteboard and create new ones with the /draw command.

I saw a Pull Request where someone tried to re-enable it and fixed major bugs of the implementation in db version at that time, but it was not checked, and it was closed automatically.
