Afaik, he used to be pretty much universally beloved until people found out what a heinous bigot he is from that leaked voice message to his ex wife..

I would argue that not only has there been actors who've ruined their reputations to the same level, some of them have well exceeded it.
And that super shitty Little Rascals role!
Most of Hollywood is either directly engaging in pedophilia and/or sex trafficking; or are aware that their colleagues are involved in these crimes.
So, I'd say about every one of them.
Hell, I'd say the people that are outwardly displaying mental breakdowns are the most normal people in that industry.
Many have done much worse than slap a guy onstage.
So has Will Smith. Perhaps not pedo shit, but that, "I like pretty girls" song with AI generated crouds is doing him no favors!
Watching his wife control him and destroy him is basically what caused him to lose my respect haha. It's like the downfall of idubbbz
