I think that the only factor that will stop Israel from using Nuclear weapons is if the Palestinian resistance inside the occupied territories are able to overrun the settler millitary as it gets stretched thinner by the Iranians and regional resistance.
I suspect that the Palestinian resistance are waiting for Israel's capabilities to degrade even further as the war continues before striking. The recent acceleration of violence in the West Bank and Gaza since the start of the Ramadan War look to me like the violent lashings of a settler colony that's becoming aware of its own upcoming demise.
Some have said I am too optimistic about the complete removal of imperialists from the region during this war, but I genuinely think the conditions for region wide liberation is rapidly approaching.
The Resistance has been laying low since the fake ceasefire started, I hope they have gained enough arms and new combatants in the meantime.
This feels like when the Nazis started trying to relocate concentration camp victims near the end of the war.
This is exactly my impression. The Nazi regime on its death throughs decided it was going to cause as much suffering for its victims on the way out as it could. Perhaps this is a feature of all settler societies in decline, as a similiar trend of violence occurred within South Africa, Rhodesia, abd Algeria as well, though there were certainly differences in the demographics for those examples.
