Did anyone here have a kick starter?

I do miss having a kickstarter. Had one on my Harley.

  • Never have to worry about the bike having a dead battery.

  • Fun and cool to use. Makes starting the bike an event.

Late 70's.

Not your typical Harley, though. Harley SX-250

From that time Harley sold a made-in-Italy 250cc single-cylinder two-stroke enduro bike. Actually quite rare ... and even rarer now, since mine was wiped out by an idiot in an SUV.

That seems like an interesting make. I wonder how many might be left.

Only 2500 were originally made over the entire 5-year production run, and a lot of them were ridden hard in the woods. They've got to be extremely scarce today, especially hard to find one in anything close to good condition.

Its interesting to think of a time HD would experiment more.
