War is one of the leading government grifts. That's why the US has a military industrial complex.
You assume the average voter ever knew about Haliburton and Dick Cheney. When Cheney died there were lots of people needing to have who he was explained because they didn't understand why people were celebrating. There's a number of voter eligible people who were not alive for either Cheney's travesties or Haliburton and the Iraq War stuff.
