We're a collection of free thinking, high IQ individuals united against hate and fascism. We're basically his worst enemy. If he changes his mind and decides to ban Tik Tok he'll definitely come for decentralized social media next.

Who gives a fuck? He can ban it from official appstores, perhaps order providers to block some major instances... so what?

The population present on Lemmy / the Fediverse is already a conglomerate of anti government, anti authority highly autistic nutjobs who wouldn't in the slightest be hampered by this. Just use a VPN / TOR / build a Lemmy client on Gopher or Gemini / access it through a SSH session on a VPS in northeast Wakanda... the possibilities are endless.

But it won't be necessary in the first place because I bet my left nut that nobody in the Trump junta has ever heard about Lemmy.

The Fediverse is already obscure... Lemmy? That is on the same level obscure as the study of south Polynesian penis tattoos.
