They haven't come after me...yet. Here's the front of my house ON THE HIGHWAY.

Fuck yes brother

Do people frequently call 911 to report an ATV wreck at your place? How many wrecks happen from people gawking?! 😂

How do your neighbors feel about this?

[-] SeeMarkFly@lemmy.ml 40 points 1 day ago

What neighbors? Any house that sold in the last TEN years was bought by some commercial endeavor. Rental, Airbnb, tax writeoff...

I don't have neighbors, just some people passing through.

Either awesome or pissed

If awesome, great

If pissed, fuck em

It has turned into an interesting social experiment.

This small town is economically divided. Half the people work for the government in one way or another. Police, Sheriff, Highway Patrol, Forestry, BLM, Fire department...

The other half is on welfare.

The well-to-do people HATE it. I have been flipped off by some of the city council officers. It's anyone who is driving a new car dislikes my "art".

The poor people LOVE it. They shake my hand and tell me to "Keep it up".

So... it looks like I'm working for the poor man.

BLM? I’m non-USian, what do the initials mean in this context?

[-] PolarKraken@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 16 hours ago

That one is "Bureau of Land Management"

[-] wieson@feddit.org 6 points 1 day ago

Bureau of land management. They look after the national parks and such

[-] Noel_Skum@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago

That makes sense - thanks.

So... it looks like I'm working for the poor man.

That's honest work. Well done.

When I retired, I had a desire to explore the art world. My first BIG project was this dictionary I tied to the table with chains. Title: Hard Bound, Bound Hard.

It is my interpretation of things like when you buy a John Deere tractor and they tell you you can't work on it. You own it but it's not yours. We are starved for knowledge but drowning in information.

Dunno how I feel about painting a bunch of swastikas on the side of your house, but I love your energy comrade. It's a brave new world.

be mindful of what you post online, but I'm sure you appreciate the risks, take care.

I didn't paint them for you, I paint for ME.

[-] Hypnotoad_@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago

I can dig it. Keep fighting the fight brother

[-] jaybone@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago

It’s more that I would worry about vandalism.

[-] SeeMarkFly@lemmy.ml 30 points 1 day ago

I caught vandals trying to paint over it. I won in court. They had to pay me for damages.

It's making me money.
