I don't know if it's any consolation but less than half the voters voted for President Trump in 2016. Their democratic system is broken, but their politicians won't fix it because the broken system keeps them in power.
Total votes for Donald Trump in 2016: 62,984,828 (46.1%)
Total votes for Hillary Clinton in 2016: 65,383,514 (48.2%)
It's a moot point, but you're correct hahaha. My point really is many people lap up every bit of vaccuous american marketing in australia, but still see russian people as bad cos that's america's marketing also.
