A newspaper owned by Rupert Murdoch delivered a sharp warning to President Donald Trump after a high-profile Republican loss.

In a new editorial, The Wall Street Journal warned Trump that a hardline immigration strategy promoted by top aide Stephen Miller is fueling voter backlash.

It comes after a Trump-endorsed candidate for the Texas state senate lost to a Democrat over the weekend.

who authorized more drone strikes

Being killed by a drone isn't any worse than being killed by a bullet, an artillery shell or a bomb from a plane. If anything, it's more likely to hit its intended target, and less likely to incur noncombatant casualties. Dead is dead.

Instead of fixating on a particular lethal technology (which has become a thought-terminating cliche), it makes better sense to look at the bigger picture. GW Bush's second Gulf war was responsible for the deaths of approximately half a million civilians. Obama never came within two orders of magnitude of that level of senseless state violence. Probably even more orders of magnitude. And the civilian death toll that did occur under Obama (largely from the continuation of the Afghan war) was almost entirely attributable to tactics other than drone strikes.

The underlying point here that, as long as the US is prone to foreign military intervention, innocent people are going to die. But the both-sides argument is bullshit. The civilian body count has been overwhelmingly the result of Republican presidents' actions since the end of the Vietnam war. Differences in degree matter. Binary thinking is barely thinking at all.

No, this argument IS NOT bullshit.

What will it take for you to realize both Republicans and Democrats serve the ruling elite, just in a different way?

Democrats ALWAYS HAVE ENABLED THE REPUBLICANS.

They've NEVER challenged the ruling elite.

They've NEVER walked back from authoritarianism.

They've NEVER pushed the needle back towards the left, they just push it right or let the republicans push it right.

You need to WAKE THE FUCK UP. Both Republicans and Democrats are the enemy and need to be removed. I know that sounds hard, so it's tempting to want to deny reality and hope the democrats will save us BUT THEY WON'T.
