Ah, but unlike killing people with explosives, killing people with chemicals is technically prohibited, so writing a feel-good story about unions at the chemical warfare factory would be a bad look.
but like drug compounds? adhesives? batteries? fertilizers? there are lots of chemical factories which aren't that dodgy, on first glance at least.
