With all that's going on, this is having some profound effects on my mental health. I rarely suffer from imposter syndrome now because I can compare my competency with them. If that shit show can be in charge of a country then my worries of discovery are nonexistent.
I thought myself a generally bad person from just not volunteering or anything, I mostly provide monetary assistance to friends who have a hard period. Now, I'm a veritable saint in comparison.
Your average person would think I reprehensible for wanting to just dispose and depose all the wealthy as well as powerful. Now, I can point that one person has literally been a puppeteer all along in all the horrible things that have happened.
It's because what you see on TV/media is bullshit and it 100% conditions your perception of societal norms.
An easy example is a TV show like friends where young people assume adults just get to hang out and meet their friends all the time.
Reality makes no sense and it doesn't fit a "bucket". Terrible people can work in altruistic roles. Idiots can work at what you'd think are smart office jobs.
