Picture from Saturday's protest at the Portland ICE facility. An agent fixed his 40mm launcher at my head twice, despite me very obviously being a photographer.

No one pretends that the US is the only country doing anything bad... Arguably China and Russia for instance are still a lot worse when it comes to human right violations.
But it is a lot more pressing that USA is turning to fascism/authoritarianism since it will then be two global anti-democratic Superpowers not only one.
