What part of this constitutes apologia? Is this a bad joke or are you genuinely mad because not being associated with the ultra-pedophile doesn't make one a good person?
The problem is that, desoite a clear lack of credible evidence, Marxists and anti-imperialists have been continuously demonized. This is despite clear evidence against pro-imperialists, including Noam Chomsky, champion of the faux-left. A meme isn't going to have a comprehensive view of the people in the meme, it's just supporting the fact that the allegations continue to not have bearing in reality of evil Marxists.
How is it specifically apologia though? I agree with what you are saying and it makes sense, I’m just stuck on the apologia part.
I'd say it minimizes the real crimes we know of by focusing on percieved wrongdoing by those not on the lists. I wouldn't personally call it apologia, but it can run the risk of undermining them.
