that he's just another reactionary nepo baby, producing low brow bait content in a narcissistic effort to feed his own ego, presumably?
i haven't watched any of his streams, just piecing together what bits and bobs i'v been exposed to.
his entire persona is both fake and uninteresting, if your gonna be a streamer instead of getting an actual job you could atleast do something unique instead of just pretending to be relatable

Well, sorry to tell you this, but you are so god damn wrong for everything you said here. I too used to think like you year and a half ago, when everything I heard about Hasan was through people who hated him, including Penguinz0 whom I watch a lot. But then I tuned in, I watched him, and realized that people like you lied to me so bad. In some way, I thank you for that, because you pushed me to discover him and also see a lot of evil and ignorance around me. I probably would have never done that if I wasn't constantly bombed with negative clips and comments about him, sparking my curiosity once and for all, you know?
The only difference between you and I is that I don't speak about people I haven't at least watched and heard myself for at least a few hours. Asmongold, Ethan Klein, Andrew Tate, Trump, JD Vance, Nick Fuentes, I have watched all of them and "met" them myself to see if what people say it's true before I open my mouth and share something completely biased or wrong.

Your life will always be the funniest meme, brother. You don't even have a quarter of what the average baby boomer had at your age, like 7+ children, a big home and economic stability. Instead, you cry about AAA videogames raising their price by 10 or 20 mere bucks, about RAM prices, housing and healthcare costs, you treat Steam Sales like ponds of water in a dry desert because you are broke as fuck. The fertility rate in your country is 1.5, below the recommended 2.1+; during the baby boomer era, the rate was 6.0+ in the USA, 7.0+ in Mexico. Today, both of them, along China and Japan, are below 2.1, your population is shrinking, your people are having less sex than ever, there are more and more incels suffering in silence and then putting on a mask online to make it seem like they are okay and laughing at memes attacking the people that are trying to fix these issues for your undeserving ass.
This is why everything you are going through is well-deserved. You don't try hard enough for humanity or people. So, why should people do that for you? Stay childless, stay broke, stay miserable. You deserve it for attacking the people that tried to help you. Have fun getting your first home at the young age of 54 years old, which is the average age people are getting their first home today. After you turn 30, remember that complications during pregnancies arise significantly, children come out with disabilities more often. Saying that "I don't want children" is a coping mechanism that was forced upon you through cliches in media, like showing parents getting awakened during the night, looking like zombies, all that shit we saw in cartoons and movies, they convinced you that having children is bad, and now you can't have any because the rich have all your money and are giving you the least amount possible to keep you "comfortable" and obedient.
I am glad you could at least find solace on a stupid retarded unfunny meme like a Yu Gi Oh card. I wish I was as retarded as I was when I was 12 and laughed at shit like that too again. It must be so cool to be that stupid. Stupidity and ignorance keep people happy. I don't watch him but my wife does and I'll certainly listen in while I do other things if I'm in the same room. There's definitely people who want nothing but to tear him down and will invent scandals, but also he definitely leans into the controversy, just like how he seems to enjoy highlighting some of the worst takes by his chatters.
He's been doing this for over a decade now, and provides valuable commentary to the news coverage he's covering, and also he'll do debates & interviews with folks, encourages viewers to check out the works of certain journalists, etc.
He's addressed this before, basically stating that yes he did get his start thanks to his uncle's success with The Young Turks. He doesn't pretend that he succeeded in a vacuum based entirely on his charm/smarts/etc. and he runs his company as a coop with employee pay directly related to the company's income rather than whatever is the "industry standard"
Honestly he tends to do a better job reporting on current events and providing relevant context than [insert national cable news network here] does

Here's him interviewing the attorney general of Minnesota after attending one of the anti-ice rallies immediately following Alex Pretti's execution or here he is interviewing prisoner firefighters in LA during the fires in early 2025
My wife happened to be watching that stream and she's dropped streamers she's watched religiously for far less than animal abuse. Literally nothing happened. You're seeing edited/manipulated clips trying to make a scandal out of nothing.
Look, Hasanabi ain't my cup of tea exactly, (I appreciate his content but I'm not going to seek it out) and I intentionally avoid getting attached to any public personality or person because all too often they end up being a piece of shit, but he's out there doing good work covering real news and educating real people on how the real world works. Until he actually does something worth dropping him, I'll keep paying attention whenever my wife watches him (and she'll probably know before me if he does something terrible or some revelations come out)
