Help: Navigation with Android Auto is laggy (piefed.social)

Hi there,

I try to use CoMaps instead of Google Maps in Android Auto, but it is really laggy. The map jumps every 1-2 sec forward instead of moving constantly.

Is this a known issue or is it a problem with my phone?

Is it like that normally inside the app too or only when using it with android auto?

Because it seems to be a general issue unrelated to android auto https://codeberg.org/comaps/comaps/issues/1391
You probably only notice it while driving because you move across the map more quickly.
