Yeah they would never make a animated movie celebrating one would they? Much less two of them. Damn Society.
I would agree that society in America doesn't value single parents regardless of gender as much as they should. I think they are often stigmatized, especially women.
Single motherhood is also relentlessly praised, though.
Perception is not necessarily objective reality.
