Desperation on both sides. Microsoft for their crap, and the IT dept buyers of the license who need to validate to higher up they didn't throw money in the toilet.
CEOs everywhere: I heard Microsoft are giving out paid training, didn’t you say you wanted to learn something a few years ago? Let’s pursue this!
For Microsoft, it's probably worth the hemorrhaging costs to try and save the much larger investment they've already made in and stop the plummet of its use.
