I understand that people just hegemonically accept venezuela as authoritarian, but what are the exact arguments and ideas people have? What are the facts?

Afaik they say that collectivos are thugs that usurp democracy and torture people for 'the regime'. The evidence is during the American invasion the other day one group of them shot at a car or something as a warning shot
