But they didn't lose the gun debate, in fact I don't think they lost the debate on any issue

Honestly, it's more accurate to say MLK was assassinated because he was winning the debate too well. Certain people got nervous when he started talking about workers right and explotation...

Kirk was literally pro-gun violence, he died in the act of defending it. His literal last words were "Do you include gang violence?"

    that is true, charlie kirk wanted everyone to be all guns blazing everywhere - his last words were actually "counting or NOT counting gang violence?" (something like that). seriously!

    I wasn't paraphrasing lol, but yeah, exactly. The exchange was about the percentage of trans shooters, and he was muddying the point because trans people are under represented as mass shooters, despite being like .5% of the population. And even that includes people who have detransioned due to social pressure... If you don't count that profile, I don't know if there's a single trans shooter

    So yeah, he was both racist and transphobic in his last moments

    He also had such positions like "if some kids have to die, that's just the price of the second amendment" (that I am paraphrasing)

    Hell, he started wearing a bullet proof vest to events not long before that. He knew what he was doing, but grifters gotta grift
