Haha, you know i was reading that Picard was really the first captain to say “the thing” (an order to get underway as in engage). and also that in the current series Captain Pike says “hit it” which is kind of a cheeky homage to Star Wars in which Han Solo says “punch it” before engaging hyperdrive.

I think a neat crossover would be to put the borg into the star wars universe and I'd probably watch it.
