I said it yesterday in a thread about this. Gorsuch literally wrote the majority opinion on Bostock. As far right as he is on everything else, he's actually pretty good on LGBT stuff. Between him, Kagan, Roberts, KBJ, and Sotomayor, there wasn't even going to be a debate. This was simply conservative groups taking pot shots with cases. If you pay attention, they always do this stuff in 2’s. Fuentes is not only gay, but Mexican. The people that are in their camp right now have plenty among them that will gladly purge them when it comes time for it. Doesn't matter how many followers or how much is in their bank account: there is a certain kind of xtian that wants to be empowered by the government to murder all gays. I suppose Thiel thought he'd hole up in New Zealand or something, but...with crazy-eyed zealots, I would not put anything past the extent to which they will go in their murderous aims.
