Maybe it's just a subjective thing from my own limited perspective, but I believe it anyway: with federated liberals showing up and really giving us something to dunk and clown on and generally to identify against, I haven't seen an in-house Hexbear struggle session and I haven't even had anyone get weird on me in direct messages, make several "not an alt" alt accounts to scream at me for a few hours/days, or anything like that since the federating happened.
In that way, indirectly and unintentionally, I'm happy that federating made Hexbears come together and be a bit less shitty. 
Yeah I left a bit before federation because I felt like the vibes were just off. Too many pointless discussions, too much nitpicking. Just people looking for fights, looking to misinterpret another in order to get the heat up. Noone really willing to just hear another point of view. It sucked.
The vibes are on now. We can all see that were more or less at the same address, so what does it matter that you're sharing room with a trot, when they at least agree that capitalism is the problem? What does it matter that you're being told you can't stack rocks, at least the person is knowledgeable about the subject of which they speak.

I got this line I think is clever, maybe it's stupid. But it goes like this: if we have bones to pick we can do that at the victory feast.
