I think you found a connection on like 5% of what vestal virgins were. Reading the Wikipedia article you linked, paragraphs upon paragraphs don't map. Vtubers aren't religious, they don't get killed if they aren't chaste, their partners aren't murdered if caught, they aren't selected as children and forced to work for 30 years, they don't have to keep some lamp lit, they aren't traded about for political maneuvering.
You're going to see just as much in common across the millennia among those in "the oldest industry".
True. I didn't think they were one to one recreations, but there are some stark parallels in my opinion.
