They guy they are going after is an abuser who rage quit the "party" he started because he made women and particularly trans women uncomfortable so many times that they barred him from posting on Twitter as a representative of the org. He literally thinks he is lenin and described getting barred from Twitter posting by his party which he started as "being like Lenin after his stroke." Him and his clique of cis men left because he wasn't allowed to post on twitter and started a newspaper and reading group despite none of them doing any real organizing work and now posture to be the tip of the vanguard while trying to poach small organizations into subsuming themselves into his org. Him and everyone who works with him are grifters.

I do think the discourse against public defenders is shallow all things considered but I don't think that is really the issue people have with him, it is how he speaks about and to women and carries himself in general as a know it all communist larper
