MODERATORS
No one wants to have 500 subscriptions at $6/month for arbitrary news sources. The news business should coalesce around a micropayments system where you can load $5.00 into an account and then unlock individual articles for a quarter a piece.
Or a service where I spend $20 a month and get unlimited access to articles, and the money gets doled out proportionately to what I read.
Yeah that’s actually the Apple News model. It makes sense, but there should be a service non-Apple users can use.
