I really don’t think she has any real ideological consistency, islamophobic shit was the wealthy liberal consensus at the time too.
If the wealthy liberal consensus was that Zionism was bad, she would dislike Zionism too. She is just a mindless follower of mainstream consensus justifying her lack of ideological convictions with sophistry ad hoc while feeling smugly superior to the people that do have convictions.
