For Shinzo, however, Japan basically collectively agreed that he was an asshole and his reputation was ruined. That rarely happens. Imagine if the assassination attempt on Trump in 2024 was successful and then... not only does MAGA die immediately, but even the most die hard MAGA people immediately say 'yeah Trump was a dipshit anyway.' permalink fedilink source parent
