Just to be safe though I'm going to go listen to campaign speeches from the 18th century to stay in the zone.

Not even. A bit of the Lincoln first inaugural did just fine, thanks. I like my headspace to be discursive, florid, and buried in obliquity.

Edit: I know I said 18th century, I changed my mind.
