- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

It's a holiday to commemorate the end of slavery in America.
He obviously doesn't want any holidays related to black people to be celebrated.
