No no, that thing is the thesis that I and everyone around me including this DT is thoroughly sick of hearing about 😂 It's due at the end of the month but really, I wanted to have been done by it by the end of next week! I have a dinner at which I wanted to be able to tell people I was done...
Maybe it might happen because of the way my brain works, idk. But if I need to take all of next week off to make it happen, I can...
Oh that thesis, keep at it and see where you are the end of next week, you may surprise yourself!
Maybe set that dinner as a goal and keep working at it as motivation.
If you take all of next week off is that going to impact you negatively at work?
Next week won't be a problem with work precisely because I'm so ahead of schedule right now! And things have slowed down a bit. I had a quick chat to my manager about it and he's very supportive too if I need to do it, at this point we all just want this thing done haha.
