Nothing too special, just some misting nozzles and some pvc.

The beds are 4x12’ with the heads spaced every 1’ starting and ending 2’ from the end.

There are a surprising amount of Calgarians on Lemmy and specifically this community too, it’s weird.

The pipes and fittings are just from plain ol Home Depot, and the misting nozzles are left over from my aeroponics system I made, but Amazon was the place.

I use 120v aquarium pump for my aeroponics and it works, I don’t know how many heads you could put on before the pressure loss makes it useless. My system just has 12 on it, it pumps nutrients and everything for my cannabis though.

I think I found the same nozzles on Amazon. I'm for sure copying this setup

This was the hardest piece to figure out and locate, it’s the metal fitting to go from hose to the threaded part for the pvc. I also had to make some same ended hoses to connect them.

Next time to make it easier you'll note that the PVC end and most general threaded fittings are designated M/F Iron Pipe ( or possible International pipe thread) MIP. Here its is 3/4" but comes in a variety of sizes.

And all hose threads are designated M/F Hose Thread.( MHT) And in general most garden hose is 3/4". Though commercial hoses may be larger. But are uncommon.

The M/F being male or female of course.

Yeah but the guys at Home Depot are a crap shoot. Some guy you can tell you what want and they’ll take you right there. Other guys are like plumbings over there, or just look lost when you use the “correct” terms.

Ask them for a mip to mpt and they’ll be lost. But then ask them for a hose to pvc and they’ll can maybe figure it out. I usually try to order online when I can, or go to the suppliers around town, but they aren’t open on the weekends.

The ones I got come in 90, 180 and 360 degrees, so options for different situations. I used all 180s on mine.

Glad my post was useful to someone else, cheers.
