I certainly agree that putting pressure on Israel since the grotesque over-reaction to the October 7 attacks is appropriate. I can see the argument for just never playing a concert there, but I think having played a concert in Israel ever does not qualify someone as a "Nazi". That's preposterous. Israel is presently in the process of an active and highly violent genocide against Gazans. Prior to this, public policy has been generally oppressive and heinous against Palestinians, sometimes more or less so.

I don't have a term for that, but either way, equating anyone who has played music in Israel with being a Zionist and therefore, a Nazi is childish and obscures actual Nazism. There is real fascism and racism in Israeli society but it is not true that it's somehow caused by Thom Yorke.
