I play like Morrowind. I stay in safe areas and do low level small quests. I stick up and prepare before a journey. I try to join small factions for both missions and protections.

A gunfight would quickly end with me dead, and there would be no way of changing the story. If I was armed, it would be easy to tell all kinds of stories about what happens. I know cops lie.

I have zero interest in violence. Being a queer kid in Oklahoma has already resulted in experiencing physical violence at multiple points in my life. I have spent more time learning to make a punch hurt less than I have learning to throw them. Any point where retaliation has been attempted makes the punches harder, and garners me more other consequences. It’s easier to show people your gashes if they cannot reveal a bruise.

These cowards will draw back as soon as they get bit.

No, they won't. They will escalate. And feel righteous doing it.

Most people make fun of France because of dumb reasons like that. I make fun of France for their evil imperialism that gets too often overlooked in America.

But in all seriousness, the only thing we could do to stop this current mess is behead the king, and the US military is more than capable of destroying any large scale effort. I think targeting nobility could be a decent alternative, but I'm physically incapable personally.
