Speaking as someone in Europe

The US has a major effect on the rest of the world. Elon is a big concern even if you don't live in the US

..and you don't wanna see what's gonna happen aa the US progresses more into fascism and sets their sights for outside their borders. Hell, they've already done that with Canada and Greenland, even

I mean, even look what he's tried in Germany, between Ukraine/Russia, he seems to have some major influence in China, South Africa... he's the richest man in the world, not just America.

I agree. "One of the most important day in modern history" though? That's a bit exceptionalistic IMO.

he's been trying to influence elections outside the US too. his companies operate around the world and influence communication and transportation, and he has incentives to influence laws in other countries to lax regulations and kill competitors, including public transport and internet access. he's a nazi who operates pretty much everywhere.

most important days in history is a little hyperbole, but it will be important for the whole world.

after the American fascists are toppled, his head deserves to be near the first of many that must roll as a warning to all fascists.

Totally agree. But I'm a bit pessimistic that modern fascism and extreme wealth concentration stops at one man. In my view, it's more of a systemic issue. If he dies, the system that put him in place still thrives.

That's fair yeah. I'd say it'd depend upon the definition of modern history, but unless it's fairly narrow and recent, then yeah. Certainly not within the accepted definition of modern history
