Democratic voters prefer a populist message over one that focuses on an "abundance agenda," according to a new poll by Demand Progress.

We already knew the US is fucked beyond repair. You don't have to rub it in.

I think this result shows hope in that most people appear to have turned against the technocratic neoliberalism and want policies that could actually unfuck things.

That'd be nice, but until I see people in the streets I'm not ready to believe it.

We had potentially the fifth largest protest in American history on April 5th, if you're not seeing it it's because you're not there (and the @#$&ing media is complicit)

Yeah. I wish I could claim to be surprised about the lack of coverage, but... While I would still prefer Americans to be a little more, ah, French about how they protest, I'm still glad to hear people are hitting the streets as they bloody well should.

Potentially fifth largest is pretty mediocre. This situation demands seeing the records for largest American protest unarguably smashed on a repetitive basis.

No they just want people to tell them that they’ll unfuck things it doesn’t have to be based in reality.

Also no one knows what technocratic neoliberalism means.

If you know what technocrat and neoliberalism mean you do

So, like, Lemmy and the oligarchs
