HMD is still Finish (with french capital injected into it), HQ is still right opposite to Nokia's and they make Nokia licenced phones).

And their phones seem pretty decent but last time I checked they only offered 2 years of android updates which is a real shame considering how they market some of their phones as self repairable

I had one, 7.1. Worst phone I have ever had by a mile. USB-C port broke, not one, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 times in 2 years. Never had a broken port before or after.

It was also absolutely bug riddled and voice messages were an unusable staticy mess for literally over a year before they pushed a fix.

Pretty sure they stopped with the Nokia brand, not they're just HMD. But the phones are made in China anyway
