Wait, expecting people to be punctual can't be an autistic thing, right?
Neurodiverse people often take things literally, including times. Autistic people are sometimes rigid with times
It's not so much the expectation of punctuality, but the internal reaction when it doesn't come. There is the self doubt, the panic, the inability to do something else in case you miss the late call, etc. It tends to spiral and can be paralyzing in some cases.
Not exclusively or the whole of Germany would be autistic.
I mean… its not the most nerotypical culture
