I honestly don't know what this person was thinking doing this. Like...they probably realised early on that they have nothing and are going to lose the argument, so they tried to convince themselves that they weren't "arguing" or "discussing the topic" they were "trolling" and switched from being accidentally vague, to very deliberately vague. If I had the time, I could probably comb the comments for the exact moment they decided that they were "winning" by trolling. It's so pathetic. But beyond pathetic, it is also monstrous considering what they are claiming.

This is a person trying to convince people that a genocide is happening. Right? One of the worst if not the worst atrocities human beings can commit.

And their method is to just be deliberately obtuse and refuse to actually commit to any evidence or points or even express an emotion (or claim they are "not mad, but you all are though."). Like, this is foul behaviour, and this side of these people doesn't get called out enough I think.

If they genuinely believe that a genocide is happening, their attempt to inform people and actively do something about it is sickening beyond words. Maybe it's just me, but I have tried to do everything in my (extremely limited) power to help Palestinians, if I met someone who was "smugly" insisting that there was no genocide in Gaza, I wouldn't be a "totally chill, totally not mad troll" about it, I would get really, really fucking pissed. Like, if it was real life, I would be getting violent with that person, and online, I would be providing them with every single bit of evidence I could find, I wouldn't just link to a single shitty podcast and smugly act like I've "owned" them, I would gather eyewitness testimonies, statements from the IDF about how fun doing a genocide is, the reaction of different countries in the region, everything I can to show that it is happening. Even if this person won't change their mind, they'll slink back into the disgusting sewer that is the only fitting home for a genocide denier.

But this guy isn't doing that at all, they are treating this like a game, where the goal is simply to "own" the opponent, or even just to "waste their time" (Not realising how pathetic it is to waste your own time to waste someone else's). If they honestly believe their own claims, their actions clearly state "yeah, there's a genocide, but I don't really care about it, I only care about internet brownie points and attention." What a truly reprehensible human being this person is, if we actually take their claims at face value. Of course, in reality, they know they're full of shit. They just weren't expecting pushback and just expected the reddit style "OMG so brave! Evil SEESEEPEE will be censoring this comment! Have a gold kind stranger!" reactions to it. I'm surprise their first comment didn't end with "upvotes to the left."
