I think if all the people grilling would stop grilling entirely, it would still be less of an impact than getting rid of a single cruise ship.
Same as our cars. Sure we are the problem but container ships polite more by far. And nobody is pushing the fact keeping your current care is still the best for the environment even if it's an ICE vehicle.
Also all those people who are like I'm on my fourth fifth or sixth electric vehicle are not doing anything for the environment.
Only caveat here is by trading in EVs they've lowered the entry cost for someone else interested in getting an EV.
